I have to change my computer ip to 192.168.0.1 for ICS to work. But if i do that, I cant connect to the router at 192.168.1.1. What can I do to be able to access the router while keeping the 192.168.0.1 ip for my computer?

    Thanks

    Hi!

First connect your computer to one of Lan ports but for this first time set up your IP adress to 192.168.1.100

Then connect to your router thru WEB explorer using IP adress 192.168.1.1.

Inside of router application set up yout Internet Connection type to Sstatic IP , after that enter IP 192.168.0.254.

Also you need to enable managament of your router from "outside Internet"
To enable this you need to Enable Remote managament on your router.

Now save settings and then change IP adress of your PC to 192.168.0.1
Now move your lan cable from Lan port to WAN port.
    Restart router

After that you will have ability to use Internet connection from your PC on computers connected to your Linksys router.

To manage your router from your ICS PC you need to eneter IP 192.169.0.254.

If you want to manage your router from computer connected thru WIFI then use 192.168.1.1

Hope that this will help you !
