Hi all, I'm experiencing some weird delays with WRT54g connected to a Dlink DSL-300T Ethernet modem. The workstations (1 XP Pro, 1 Windows 200 Pro & 1 Mac OSX Powerbook) are connected to the router and can access the local network without problem, but when I try to access the Net from any workstation, there are always pauses for few seconds. When I ping a Net address (for example www.google.com) I get the following output: Reply from 66.102.11.99: bytes=32 time=45ms TTL=239 Reply from 66.102.11.99: bytes=32 time=44ms TTL=239 Request timed out. Request timed out. ... and goes on like that continuously. When I remove the WRT54g from the chain and I connect a workstation directly to the modem, I have no pauses at all. All the workstations use wired connections with static IPs in the range 192.168.0.12 - 192.168.0.40, Subnet mask 255.255.0.0, Gateway 192.168.0.1, and DNS 192.168.0.1. The setup is: ISP: BT UK WRT54g ---------- Firmware: Sveasoft Satori-4.0 v2.07.1.7sv Auto configuration IP Address: 192.168.0.1 Subnet: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.0.1 DHCP: Off Wireless: Disabled Firewall: Disabled Dlink DLT-300T ------------------ DHCP: Enabled DHCP Lease: 9999 Connection Type: PPPoa Firewall: Disabled Have anyone experienced something similar, or has any ideas how to solve this problem.
