I'm a new Linksys owner. The signal with the high gain set is phenomenal. (I've tried the router both with the new set and with the stock set).

My question is: Does anyone know where is the best place to put the "stabilizing bar" on the antenna set? Does it matter?

Second question: I prefer to use the official updated Linksys firmware. Is there any downside to enabling Frame Burst?

    Thanks in advance.

i doubt there is an optimum place to put this.

as to frameburst. only use this if you have 1-2 wireless clients, anymore and you can get a reverse of this and wireless connections will be slow.

    Thanks

    I really appreciate your reply.

I only have 2 clients. A laptop and my Xbox (wireless adapter). Hopefuly it works to my advantage!

Do you advise not using the stabilizer, or are you saying that it's pretty much the same no matter where on the antenna set you place it?
