I have been trying to get my PC to connect to my workplace via VPN. I am using Microsoft VPN to connect.

    Here is the router information:
    WRT54G ver 2.
    Firmware Version: Alchemy-6.0-RC5a v3.01.3.8sv

My old DLINK router was able to connect and everything worked great, this router connects, but I can not browse the network.

Any ideas. I searched the forums but I didn't find a good answer. Port forwarding was mentioned. Can someone give me a good example?

I know that my computer makes a connection to the VPN address on port 1723. It also looks like my computer opens port 139 for listening, but nothing connects.

    Thanks in advance

Do you have any other firewalls? Also, is your router ip in the same range as your assigned vpn IP? If so, that will cause problems... For instance if you are a 192.168.1.x number and the work assigns you Try changing your router to use 10.xx.xx.xx numbers.

    Just a couple of ideas...
