Yea, so i went out and bought a router after understand how the best buy geek squad guy told me that its so simple to turn your WRT54G into a acess point. So yea, i got my new WRT160N up and going, but i got no clue on how to put my old router in AP mode. Also, witch router should i use as my my router...im still trying to debat about this. The BB guy said something about static ip...and it should be like 1.168.1.245?

    Thanks for ALL The help/..

EDIT: Got it under controller...i put the ethernet cord in port 4 and it worked.

BUT: I still have a problem. I live in a 2-story house with a basement. The previous location of the wireless router was in the basement. I got pretty bad reception? I couldnt load a youtube video without disconnecting and reconnecting...but since i moved the wireless to the 2nd floor, not much of that. But i dont know what im supposed to be expecting. I loaded up a video and probley 8/10minutes in it poped up under vista "Limited connection"...i then have to disconnect and reconnect. And should i move the wrt45g access point in my attic?
