Is it possible to configure a WRT54G as a wireless adapter? I'm thinking of buying a cheap WRT54G router in place of a wireless adapter, to be used to connect to an existing WRT54G router as a client.

Ok, I read that it is possible, by disabling the WAN connection part. In addition, to configure the wireless radio as a wireless client.

My question is, is it possible to circumvent the NAT feature of this WRT54G client so that it acts exactly like a normal wireless client so that I need only do the port forwarding once on the main router?

Oh yah, just to add on. I do not wish to use the repeater method, which I read that it'll reduce throughput to half the normal bandwidth. I just want it to be exactly like a wireless client.

Ok folks. I guess in my anxiety to find out, I had created this thread when there are already many other threads on the same issue. Basically I just need to set the second router to the Wireless Ethernet Bridge mode so that all the computers are on the same subnet (which is what I want). I'll proceed to buy another router instead of a wireless client then.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused to any of u who may have come in. :)
