WRT54G as hub

is it possible to use WRT54G as a hub (disabled routing)?
Other computers (connected to WRT) should obtain IP from my ISP (not from WRT) and WRT should have no it's own IP.
I need WRT to be only 'transparet' hub and AP.

    thanks for any answers/comments

by definition, the WRT will NEVER work as a hub, since hubs rebroadcast packets to all computers on the hub. It will work in the capacity of a switch though, which intelligently creates virtual circuits through it to connect 2 computers that are communication together. You should turn WAN off, DHCP off, I believe you switch the operating mode to "router". Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

This is how I use my 54GC. I turned off DHCP and just don't connect to the WAN port. I am still in the default 'Gateway' mode though. Should that make a difference?
