    Here's the case:

    I bought a WRT54G router (V 2.2). I installed the Sveasoft Alchemy Pre7 firmware succesfully.

I made an arrangement with my neighbour to share his connection.

Using my laptop, this works when I'm close to my window. (without a router). The signal is pretty weak however.

I bought the router as a repeater for this signal. My neighbour's router is a Belkin54g which uses DHCP.

    1) Is it possible to use the WRT54G router to fix the job
    3) Or should I buy an Access Point in stead?
    3) Or should I buy an extra Access Point?

I'm a bit confused an although I googled a lot, it's not clear to me as yet.

I already read this. My case is a bit diffirent, because it works with two different routers.

  3. Well I was playing with exactly the same setup the other day, and I managed to get it working using this guide, I did absolutely nothing to the belkin router and just set the linksys in client mode http://www.linksysinfo.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2564

It's a bit confusing but you'll manage it, I'm still not 100% sure how i did it. but hey ho.
