WRT54G - Connection doesn't work after a while

I have a WRT54G using v1.00.4 of the firmware. My problem is that after an extended period (several hours), my connection doesn't work, and I need to reset the router. What I mean "doesn't work" (as that's vague) is that basically I can't send new packets out. I leave my computer on irssi for IRC and it still is connected fine, but I can't open a browser and get new connections, nor ping google.com or anything. I have to power cycle the router before it works again.

    My topology:
(internet)-(2wire DSL modem \w DMZ from modem

    Then from the router:
WRT-Linux box I use for server
    ~wireless to a windows box

Hopefully I was descriptive enough to get some help.

Update: I got an updated firmware and it seems resolved. Thanks!
