wrt54g crash/reboot with p2p

    Howdy,

Been to a few forums already and so far have found nothing to fix this prob. When using p2p (gnutella and edonkey) after anytime from 30mins to a few hours the router will either crash or reboot. At first I thought it was a prob with the max TCP connections (NAT sessions) on my old router, which was only 512, so I bought this WRT54G to replace it with high expectations. Well it doesn't work either. So I flashed with HyperWRT and upped my max connections to 8192, and still no change. It also doesn't seem to matter if I'm even downloading anything! It'll still crash/reboot if these progs are even open (with very little uploads too). I also noticed that I can run these progs longer at night before a crash occurs. I have tried everything to try to get this router to work. I currently have this router hooked up to my old one (2wire 100sw bridged) for a modem and the LAN side is hooked up to a 3com switch which goes out to two wired rigs. There is also one laptop hooked up wirelessly. Not sure if my model is a 2.0 or a 2.2 though. It says 2.2 on the underside of the case but says 2.0 in the SysInfo.htm page. I don't know what else to do. I know this router is perfectly capable of p2p as many ppl can do it fine. It does seem that a common link here is the 2wire router, as I am still using in bridge mode for it's ADSL modem, however the behavior the linksys is displaying would probably not point to the 2wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx!
