EDIT: Ok, the guy from Linksys support just told me after beggin for 10mins that it should be a v. 3.1 Hardware so ADSL2+ is no problem and i think dd-wrt also :) Just if I messed up anything, plz tell me :)

    Hi,
I can get a WRT54G-D2 for just 49€ but only till tomorrow evening. I wanna get ADSL2+ soon so I need to know IF the router can handle speeds up to 16mbit/sec and IF the version 4 is ok to be used with the dd-wrt firmware.
I read the thread that says the ram is cut and so I'm thinking about the future development of the firmware.. can there be trouble with only 4megs or is it still enough the use it?

Would be really nice if we could get this straight till tomorrow ;)
When switched Linksys from v.3 to v.4 anyways? Is there a chance i still can get a v.3???

    thx&cya Tobi

Hope you get what i want ;)
