Here are some pics of my WRT54G v 2.0 mod that I did to the external casing.

And always with flash it looks a lot better in person. The top fan draws in the air and is always on no matter what. The switch to the right controls the eghaust fan on/off.

I am running the newest firmware of DD-WRT. I tried doing the SD mod but it was friggen hard to get those three solder points on RP3 (or something like that). Tell me what you guys think, I put in a lot of time and it is my frist time working with BONDO putty.

Looks like a flying pumpkin!! I'm more a fan of subtle functionality. Here's mine. With it overclocked to 240mhz and the radio xmit turned up to 70, it stays cool as a cucumber with the fan running about half speed.

The fan is an Evercool 60x10mm.

Potentiometer is a Radio Shack 25ohm, 2 watt unit.

Heat sinks came from Performance_PCs.com. They're solid copper and are adhered with Vantec 2-sided thermal tape.

100ohm resistor to lower the voltage to the 5volt UV LED.

I have a gazillion of the black and blue knobs if anybody wants a few. They match the Linksys very nicely.

Next mod is a micro-SD card. Why? Because I can.

Hey man you pinned onto my thread at DD-WRT, ha nice... I like the knobs... but do you have any spare rheostats laying around? I figured you would say no.. ha.

Radioshack is almost getting to be a monopoly for the walk in walk out solution for all your pointless modding needs.
