WRT54G Firewall Problems?

I wasn't sure which forum this would go in but...
I think I've been having problems with my router, i'm using a Linksys WRT54G. Recently I've been having really low download speeds from bittorrent; I have the yellow light (which is supposed to mean my firewall is blocking it or something.) I also cant seem to get the "failed to connect to server" message when I tried to play Ragnarok Online. I didnt really have problems like this before (at least if I did I dont remember them.)
I heard that sometimes it might've been caused by spyware/malware, I used spybot and ad-aware, but nothing has changed.
I'm able to play Phantasy Star Online though so it I'm pretty sure its not affecting all of my ports.
Also my cable modem is a Motoral SB4200 if that has anything to do with it.
Any ideas on what might be wrong and/or how I can fix it?

if your BT client is UPnP compatable enabling UPnP on the router should open up the relevant ports used by BT when it is needed.

if you think you have some trojan or something running perhaps running the utility HijackThis may show something sinister on your system.

once you run it cut and paste the logfile into teh HijackThis log analyzer here: http://www.hijackthis.de/ and see what is says.
