I recently purchased a Linksys wrt54g v3 and am having difficulties adding it to my network. When I first puchased it, I attempted to manually set it up without using the setup CD. I have set up other routers before succesfully and thought I would probably be able to do the same in this case. However, after putting in all the settings and properly connecting and resetting the router I was unable to get the router to believe it was connected to the internet and hence couldn't recieve an IP address as it should have from the modem under Automatic Configuration DHCP. I then went throught the process again with the setup CD after doing a full router reset and after two tries the router finally said it could see the internet and everything was working. I then decided that there was no problem with the router and wanted to flash the firmware and upload the freeman firmware. I did this but now I am again stuck as the router says it is not connected to the internet.

Any help on the exact setup process I should use to succesfully get my router to recieve an IP address with the latest freeman firmware would be greatly appreciated. Also if you think it is a problem with the router it self that info would be really useful. Thanks a lot.
