Hi, Im having a couple of problems with the router, my setup goes like this:

    I have the ADSL router(192.168.1.1) as dhcp server and I put in manually the addresses to the WRT54G, PC1,PC2. 192.168.1.3 , 192.168.1.4 , 192.168.1.5.

The WRT54G is still a DHCP server with 192.168.2.1 , and gives automatically IPs to PC3 and PC4, they can access the internet and see PC1 and PC2 perfectly.

PC1 and PC2 cant see the WRT54G at all, not pinging 192.168.1.3 or 192.168.2.1 .

This didnt happen with my dlink di-524, and it was setup basically the same way, as dhcp to pc3 and pc4.

Another weird problem Im having is that I cant play online games in the same server using PC1 and PC3, only one PC is able to join the server and the other one wont connect at all.

Well its fixed once I turn off the DHCP server and put it as router, but I would like to have it as DHCP server, why did it work fine with the old dlink.

You are in a different subnet, when you turn off the DHCP server on WRT54G, PC1 and PC2 will get addresses in the 192.168.1.X range. Try issuing addresses on the WRT54G in the 192.168.1.X range that will not conflict with the addresses issued by the ADSL router. If they are on a different sub-net they will not be able to communicate with PC's on the other sub-net, it is not the WRT54G, but how IP Addresses work.
