WRT54G setup WPA? how?

    hi, i just started a network and successfully got it working with my linksys WRT54G router. but when i connected to the network on my laptop, it said my network is only WEP encrypted...how do i get it to the WPA2 encryption like it says on the box when i bought it? im a beginner at wireless networking. greatly appreciated for help. thank you.

    in the Wireless tab, you will see "Wireless Security", change the entry there from "WEP" to "WPA Personal" or "WPA 2 Personal" and then enter your chosen passphrase. it is better to have a passphrase of 20+ characters using alphanumeric characters

    also make sure your laptop supports the same encryption.

    which WPA is recommended for an average user? i dont want those bad neighbors getting in you know?

    WPA2 AES is best
