    Hi all,

I am having some issues with speed over wifi on my wireless network, I am using a WRTG54G with a mixed setup of 6pc's 4 of them are wireless and 2 are hardwired into the router. When I am trying to transfer files over the network my speeds are very slow, I usually get a lot less then a megabit from wireless to hardline over windows filesharing, the cards are all G based cards. I am using the latest Rupan firmware. The pc's are located within 20 feet with no majour walls behind them and no cellphones and wireless phones near by. Router Version is v2.0

Transfering a 20 Meg file takes 2-3 minutes over wireless.

The top speed that I have ever been able to see based on my network monitor application is 400kbs thats over wireless to a hardline.

I also tried using a newer router, from linksys I went and got a WRTG54G version 4. And it did the same thing.

More: The lan to lan over ethernet over the Routers barely gets over 2mb a sec.

    Any ideas ?
