WRT54G : specify another DDNS server

    Hello :)

I've got this WRT54G around for quite some time and am happy with it.

The only grief being that the stock firmware will only allow me to send my IP adress to 2 or 3 predefined DDNS servers (DynDNS, TZO, ZoneEdit IIRC), but no other.

Actually, I own a domain name (a real one in .org) managed by a provider that understands the DDNS protocol, in the same way DynDNS does, except that the IP address to their server is not one of those my router knows.

Is there a 3rd party firmware allowing to change the DDNS server ? or is there a trick to do it on a stock firmware ?

I know I can work that round by installing a script on a computer, but in fact, I also need my network to be accessible eventhough the computers are all down (like to get to a print server e.g.).

    Thanks for your help !

    alex
