WRT54G v.5 Real IP issue

Hello, I`ve just bought my WRT54g v. 5.0 model, being sure that I can get linux into it. After reading some posts here, it seems that I cannot.

My problem is: my ISP gave me two /29 (2x8 ip) real IP classes. I`m kind of a newbie, unfortunately I cannot seem to get the linksys to route those IP's for me. If I set them manually onto my pc, I`m still surfing using the router's IP address.

It seems that I cannot stop the NAT he is doing ...

If anyone have a clue, please reply.

best to get a WRT54G v4 or a WRT54GS if you want a linux based WRT or wait for the WRT54GL which is to be released soon we hope.

maybe DDWRT firmware can, or will be, able to handle multiple External addresses via Iptables. best ask Brainslayer on this one...
