well my router is hooked up and i use the wireless from my lap top, the internet works fine for a little bit of time, then out of nowhere i get disconnected from the internet except i hit refresh on my intel proset/wireless connector and the router still shows up on the available connections list with either full bars or all but one, and i try to click the connect button but it always says unable to connect? anyone know why this happens or how to fix it, the only way i can get back on the internet is if i go downstairs and unplug the router and plug it back in. I currently have the latest version of the linksys firmware also. if there is n e more information that u might need to help, let me know

also i forgot to mention that i tried connecting directly to the internet to see if it may have been my internet connection, and i had no disconnects

If its wireless it could be the drivers on the card the compatability with the card and the computer or the wireless of the router. I have blammed it on the router in the past myself only to discover down the road it was the card, for some reason the card and the computer did not like each other longterm.

so even if they have worked together before, they can just now start acting up? also I ordered the lap top from dell so wouldnt they make sure the card is compatible with the laptop?
