    Hello

I've updated my WRT54G v. 7.0 from firmware version 7.00.6 to the latest version 7.00.8. Now I cannot set the option "Keep Alive: Redial Period" (Setup / Basic Setup / PPPoE) anymore. If I click the according radio-button and save the settings, the radio-button jumps back to "Connect on Demand".

The Linksys support says that I've to replace the router but I guess that it is a new firmware bug.

Can someone confirm that he can reproduce the above described problem? That would be great!

    Regards
    Patrick

I had contact with Linksys Support again. They've found out now that it is a bug in the firmware's setup-GUI (HTML-/Javascript-Bug):

If you use Internet Explorer 6 it works, but if you use e.g. Internet Explorer 8 or a new Firefox version, it doesn't work (i.e. the radio-button jumps back to "Connect on Demand"). Strange that the new firmware has obviously not (thoroughly) been tested with the new browser versions...

Anyway, if you set the option "Keep Alive: Redial Period" and click on "Save settings" the settings will be correctly saved on your router (as it is a GUI-bug only).
