Hi, I'm pretty new to networking and I'm trying to forward a port on my WRT54G v2 router. I'm following the tutorial on portforward.com ( http://www.portforward.com/linksys/wrt54gv2-dhcp.htm ) to set up a static ip and it says something about changing the DHCP IP range, but I can't find that anywhere on the router menu. Can someone help me?

**i wasnt paying attention before, its v2.04 wireless, if that makes a difference.**

the dhcp is on the front page.

if you cannot see DHCP on this page then something is wrong with your eye sight.

under Network Address Server Settings (DHCP) heading

yes i see that, but if you'll look at the second screen shot on the tutorial page it shows "DHCP Address Range" in between "Starting IP Address" and "Client Lease Time", but its just not there on my menu, client lease time is directly below starting ip address... this is really frustrating...

her's what mine looks like: http://img141.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img141&image=router2ou.png

flash the firmware it may be a known but with stock firmware did you check that?

use something easy like the stock firmware of satori 4.0

actually though you may not need to do that i just thought of something

the default range starts at .100 so asign an ip under that and above .1 and then port forward to that if it doesnt work then flash
