I have had a fan on my router for a while. (Pretty much after day one of having it.)

Well, I found a old DirecTV receiver that had these funky looking flexible, coated copper strips called heat spreaders. So I decided to apply them to my router, and this is what I come up with... Sorry about the quality, but my digital camera is dead, so I had to use the camera in my phone...

Now, I have the cooling, I decided to step up the speed. I am running at 252MHz, running DD-WRT v23 SP2. I don't know if there is any improvement of speed or not, but I was bored so I did it.

I think my next mod will be adding the card reader so I can add more memory to this thing so I can host a small webpage on it.... or not...

lol :p if you're that bored, go get a old cpu cooler and stick it on, then try a voltage mod on the broadcom chip to oc it to the limit.

Better still, liquid cool the router! you might be e first to try that!

    Not quite that bored....

I am looking for my SD card socket now so I can see about adding the memory to it!
