Okay, i fixed my bittorent NAT error by opening a random port, and i can finally download stable files off bittorent.. but i have yet to reach over 100kb/s downloads.. ... which brings me to the problem..

THIS MODEM SB5120 is brand new..
    MY ROUTER WRT54G v3 Firmware Version : v4.00.7 IS 2 DAYS OLD.
I returned a BRAND new WRT54GS v3 (which had the same problem thinking it had to be the speedbooster) and bought the WRT54G. Because my old WRT54G NEVER EVER HAD THIS PROBLEM but yet that was a v2.2 i believe.

ANyways whenever i download over 200KBS over MIRC/ and i'm guessing with BITTORRENT as well (but i haven't hit over 100kbs yet)... MY INET dies totally goes out.. i have to restart my computer to get inet back thats the only way.. the router DOESNT DIE.. the INET doesn't die.. and the other switch ports get inet , i know this because my VOIP router RT300 is connected and i can still hear a dialtone.. while my inet goes down after i start a download.

I'm directly connected to the router(wired) its a BRAND NEW CABLE rj45.. i'v tried absolutly EVERYTHING if someone would suggest something let me know ill let you know if i'v tried it..

oh btw.. i can download and browse everything just fine..and i have hit over 1meg a second downlaoding through IE without my inet freezing.. so it's just open port programs i'm guessing? which would be IRC/BITTORENT which is what i used to download stuff anyways...
    so help:[

There is a frequent TCP cleanup startup script (contrack timeout?) to use to prevent problems with bittorrent, and this is already built into the latest HyperWRT releases.

been there done that 1000000 times.. i'v tried every firmware and did the NVRAM settings fixup script with white russian openWRT.. and tried the timeout startup script with HYPER..

i know alot of ppl have this problem too.. while using bittorrent also have a problem while downloading nothing else is online expect bittorrent.. is there a fix ? if i'm on bittorrent and my other computer "wireless" upstairs can't browse the net @ all or check emails.. and my computer which has bittorrent running can't go online @ all expect bittorrent runs fine...

if i stop bittorrent and reboot my router everything is perfect again

is there a fix for this? WRT54G v3 router.

Sounds like you don't have it set up correctly. Search for QOS, bittorrent, etc. here in the forums. You need to have ports forwarded, etc. all correctly and you should be fine then.

Also, "v4.00.7 IS 2 DAYS OLD" is not correct. That is an old firmware, unless you mean the router is 2 days old.

oops, just saw you tried other firmwares....
but how about just turning on upnp? or is it already on?

Possibly try the following with your WRT54G V3:

    HyperWRT varities:
Avenger's 21b1 firmware with the startup script of
    echo "600 1800 120 60 120 120 10 60 30 120" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_tcp_timeouts
and the TX antenna set to "left".

Of course, a few QOS settings are necessary in order to balance out the overloaded connection.

For the possiblity that Windows XP is overloaded, search for and use the LVLORD patch.

I did that startup script.. i'v tried hyperWRT before .. but did it again i'm on Firmware Version: v3.03.6 - HyperWRT 2.1b1 , and i'v used that patch already.... LVLORD patch. I have not screwed around with QOS since i was told to leave it on "Disable" i have yet to try the TX antenna left.. i changed it just now.. i turned on UPnP.. it was disabled.. whats TUFO6 AND TUFO9??????
