WRT54G v3 WAN DHCP Renew Problem

I just purchased my router about a week ago. Today when I came home my internet connection no longer worked because the router's wan address will not renew it is set to 0.0.0.0. I can connect my cable modem to any one of my 4 computers or my old router and pull an IP from my ISP just not from the WRT. One thing that is really strange is that the cable modem has a built-in DHCP server for times when the modem is not synced up (locked on) and I can pull a 192.168.100.101 from the cable modem before it syncs. But as soon as it syncs up to the ISP I get nothing. I have tried SVEASOFT's firmware, HyperWRT, and the stock firmware and they all do the same thing. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks!

do you get internet access if you plug the cable modem in the computer. if so then it could be the wrt. if no then it is a isp problem(paid your cable bill :D )

I can connect if I plug my cable modem into another router or any other computer. Is this a common problem with this router?
