I have the firmware (good one) but I transfer it in like 2 sec. and then it wont reboot or what power cycle or reset wont help. :( is it bricked ?

If it wasn't bricked you wouldn't be trying to recover it. Keep trying, I know that the older ones would take several attempts before a successful de-bricking would take place. I know that the timing of the tftp session matters.

Glad to hear you got it working again. :)

I was going to say "Cool it died , now go buy a WRT54GL. You will be a lot happier" [IMG]

Starting with version 5 of both the WRT54G and GS they are running something called VxWorks not Linux and Linksys has had their share of problems with these routers. Linksys should consider retiring the version 5 and newer and replace them with the WRT54GL. I had a WRT54G ver. 5 that would not work with VoIP. So Linksys did a RMA return and replaced it with a WRT54GL.
