    WRT54G v5 firmware 1.00.6 & Aztech DSL600EU "NO internet connection" prob

DSL600EU (Firmware Updated) also have the web management system and it works fine when I connected it directly to my PC.

So I followed as instructed and connect the DSL600EU and WRT54G, the LEDs are lighting up as per normal. However, the set up wizard keep claiming there's no internet connection.

    Everything is at default settings.
    Internet type as PPPoE.

I feel that its most likely due to conflict in the ip address and stuff like this.
But have no exact solution for it.

    Anyone,
    please help.
    Thanks!

you've entered your username/password correctly in the PPPoE settings of the WRT54G and it is pluged from the DSL modem to the WAN port of the router?

    i'm using WRT54G & Aztech DSL600EU

u need to set up a bridge connection at Aztech DSL600EU for them to work together..

first, disconnect coneection between aztech & linksys.

i suggest you to reset your Aztech modem...how? poke the reset button & hold it for 10sec (power on)..

go to http://192.168.1.1 to configure ADSL router as bridge..

    default user name: admin
    password: admin

click on setup & then click on new connection..the default PPPoE connection setup is displayed. At the Type field, select Bridge & the Bridge Connection setup page is displayed. Give a name for the bridge connection say "Bridge", no spaces and no number.

Click apply button to complete the connection. However, the apply button will only save this conection temporarily. U need to click on "Save Settings" to make the change permanent. At the system commands page, click on Save All.

now, u just need to setup connection between Linksys & Aztech. Follow the instruction by inserting Linksys CD bundled with WRT54G to establish connection. Should work by then.

    Have fun. hope this helps..

    Cheers :)

    Hi there!
Thanks for putting in so much effort in bringing across the idea.
Despite following every of your instructions, it's still not workable and not able to connect to the internet during the WRT54G configuration (as loaded from the CD)
    It was as follows:
    Everything resetted.
I changed the settings of the DSL600EU to a bridge connection (primary) and did no changes to any other values.
    And I did save all.
So while in the configuration setup (from CD), it stated that it had an error loading the language pack. Then it proceed to a manual setup of the connection type (chose PPPOE). What happened after that was then history. The same problem again.
Are there any more viable solutions for me to look upon?
    Please help,
    Thanks a lot !
