    Hi,

I have a WRT54G v5 that I put DD-WRT micro (v23 SP2) on. After a little while though, it gets really slow and the bandwidth goes way down. I reset it and it's fine for a while (hour maybe) but then it just gets really slow again. This is using my desktop wired into the router, and not using torrents or anything, just regular surfing. Any suggestions? Oh, and already have these settings changed - Maximum Ports = 4096, TCP Timeout = 120,m UDP Timeout = 120.
    Thanks.

having the same problem with a WRT54GL running the std version of DD-WRT. I think it maybe a firmware bug.

    WRT54GL

I don't have the problem that the router is getting slower after time. There is pretty mucht p2p and gaming here with 5 computers. I use uTorrent and set it as follow: Global Max. Connections = 400 Max. Connections a torrent = 80.
    Upload is limitted to max = 90 kB/s and Download = 500 kB/s

In the router i have set the Max. ports = 512 TCP & UDP Timeout = 600. You don't have to use so max ports open, look at the Active IP Connections and you will see that its low. Here it's hardly above 50% most of the time arround a 100 or less. The kids and i are playing World of Warcraft.

I use this configuration for months now and everything is working correctly. I have an WRT54GL running at 225Mhz. Firmware DD-WRT v23 SP2.
