    Hi there,

yesterday my WRT54G died suddenly. I didnt try to apply any 3rd party firmware, just used the out-of-the-box linksys firmware.
Symptoms: After plugging power, the power led just lights up. No blinking, flashing, whatsoever, just light. Perhaps it seems to be a little dim, but maybe thats just an impression.
All the other leds seem to light very very dim, almost not viewable. But alight!

If I plug a lan cable into one of the four switch ports, the cable isnt detected by windows and the switch-led doesnt light up. Neither the wan-led does.

I searched through the forum but I only found tutorials about unbricking by tftp. But that doesnt work for me, I guess.

What am I supposed to do now?

    cheers stefan

easiest thing to do is Call Tech Support and ask for an RMA to get a replacement.

Hum, this isnt possible anymore. I already opened the case to see if there's an intel rom to do a recovery (found a tutorial which needs this particular flash rom).
