    hello,

i have time warner cable internet. When I plug the ethernet directly from the cable modem into my mac, the internet works fine. Without a router involved, under network preferences for the DHCP info it says:

    IP Address: 76.167.213.60
    Subnet mask: 255.255.224.0
    Router: 76.167.192.1

as soon as I plug my linksys router into the equation, the internet stops working. I can connect to the router to set it up, but the internet won't work. Given the info from just the cable modem, what should I do to the router to get it to work? I'm a little confused by the fac that I'm getting a router address from just the cable modem. I tried the usual 192.168.1.1 and 255.255.255, etc settings that usually work on my linksys with other internet providers, but I just moved and am puzzled by the new setup. Please help.
