wrt54g + wpa + airport express?

I'm currently running a WRT54G with wifi firmware so I can trap SNMP and feed MRTG on my FreeBSD box.

I've got several windows boxes connected via wire and one wireless windows notebook also connected to the network.

I've got WPA and MAC filtering set up on the WRT54G so I can control who gets into the wireless network.

I went and picked up an AirPort Express and tried to get it connected so I could stream music via itunes into my stereo.

Unfortunately, the only way I can seem to get things to work is if I turn off all of my wireless security and leave everything wide open - which doesn't sit well with me.

I've been reading about different options that I have to get things all up and working but I haven't found anything written that would give me everything I want.

I want to keep at least a decent amount of wireless security in place. At least WEP if not WPA.

I want to be able to continue to trap SNMP.

I want to be able to use the AirPort Express to stream music.

I don't need to extend my network via the AirPort Express.

Can someone out there give me some pointers?

    Much appreciated.
