Here's the description of my setup and problem:

Setup: Linksys WRT54G v2.2 (with latest original firmware) on one end connected to an ADSL modem, another end - 1 wired connection + 4-5 wireless (WPA PSK TKIP encription).
Problems: Wireless connection on 3 out of 4 computers was being dropped on regular bases. On one card (SMC2706W v.3 EU/11 Mbit) - after every connection I got disconnected. On Edimax 7106 (11 mbit) - every 10-20 seconds. On MSI PC54G2 - after every connection. The only stable connection was laptop, using PCMCIA Asus 54mbit card - it was stable all the times.
I discovered that the problem was with WPA, because unencrypted connection was stable at all times.
Using Odyssey Client almost solved it, but I kept losing connection 2-3 times a day.

Solution: After talking to Linksys support, here's the info:
    - The most stable channels for WPA appear to be 1, 6 and 11.
    - I changed:
    Beacon interval to 50
Fragmentation Treshold and RTS Treshold both to 2304
and it solved ALL of my problems. Now the connection is rocksolid for days, without speed dropping!

(I do seem to have problems with E-mail: my passwords are often sent wrong, so I get messages: Wrong password from POP3 servers... :)
