    WAN -- WRT54G ~~~~~ WRT54G --- PC

Is it possible to set the above up and how please?

just the WRT54G to WRT54G link im not sure on really, the rest i find straight forward.

where -- is cat5 and ~~ is a wireless signal.

there is other pc's plugged into the first router, both wired and wireless.

also with a set up as above would it also make the signal stronger for wlan devices as two routers would be within range then?

thanks and sorry if its a silly question lol.

Yes, but you need to update to a firmware with WDS. The factory firmware does not have this capability.
    see our WDS guide

If you want to connect two units of WRT54G by cable, Linksys has the answer.

    I have same problem.

    Does it absolutely need WDS?
I have WRT54Gv5 which doesnt have any other firmware, other is WRT54GS with dd-wrt.

I´ve been trying to get them work as AP(GS)~~~~client(v5), but is it even really possible?

WDS is not the only option. Client mode is another one.
