Hello right now I currently own a Asus WL-520GU. I am planning on buying the newer model Asus RT N16 and flashing it with Tomato firmware. Do you guys think this is a good router? Or maybe I could try maybe one of the buffalo on linksys models? I am not looking to spend more then 100.....maybe a little bit more if it is a really good router.

Also I have 2 WRT54G2 flashed with DDWRT setup as wireless access points now since this is a G router can I still connect to N based routers like the the Asus RT N16.

If not should I get a dual band router instead?

I hope to here from someone,

    Thanks

yes, it's still a very good router - best choice if you only need 2.4GHz Wifi
and yes you can still connect to N based routers like the RT-N16 but only if you set it no Auto and NOT n-only
