    Hello everyone, I just bought a WRT54GC, and I'm running it through a BEFCMU10 (modem) > BEFSR41 (4-port router) > EZXS55W (5-port switch) then to the WRT54GC.

Now I'm running 3 computers off of the BEFSR41 and then one port is going to the 5 port switch and I'm running 2-3 computers off of that, along with the WRT54GC. I'm running the WRT54GC as a wireless access point only, nothing wired off of that. All of the other wired computers can connect and share files fine, now when I try to use the access point, (using a WPC54G I might add) I can connect but can not get to the internet. I've tried connecting to the WRT54GC wired aswell and can see the other net-worked computers, but I cant access any shared files or the internet. The WRT54GC has one of the 7dB SMA antenna on it aswell. So its not a signal loss problem. I've tried just about everything. Is this common?, and how do I fix it? I want to eventually set-up a WPA network. I had one running fine with a belkin wireless router but the signal was so poor I decided to go with linksys. And of course their tech-support is sub-par. Help please! :) Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm running windows xp pro sp2 on all machines, and we're connected to comcast cable 4mbp/s connection.

    still nothing

I've tried by-passing the other devices completely and running the WRT54GC directly into the modem and still nothing, wired or wireless. Anyone have any ideas what could be failing? Thanks

If MAC Address cloning is required by your ISP, was the correct MAC Address being used when you did your by-pass (and modem + router reboot, of course)?

If cloning is not required, is it disabled?
