    >>>I goin to buy WRT54GL is easy broke using unnoficial firmware??

No. They are pretty safe loading good aftermarket firmware, like DD-WRT or HyperWRT Thibor, or many others. Lots of people do it, and there are few reports of failure.

You can increase transmission power, but it's doubtful that you'll be able to actually increase antenna sensitivity. For that, you'll need a better antenna, or if you can afford to go directional, build a reflector from the plans at www.freeantennas.com and see if that helps.

Any of them will allow you better control over your wireless signal strength, but it depends on your needs.

    >>>Is WRT54GL the best option actualy??

It's a good option, but you may want to look into the newer WRT300N, which supposedly is capable of better range (I have no personal experience with this router).
