There is a special version of DD-WRT which you have to purchase to get. I believe I have read here or over at DD-WRT that you can set bandwidth limits per port. The free version does not offer that feature.

I may be wrong so don't quote me on it, I personally use Tomato.

Its true there is a special DD-WRT firmware which has advance QoS control to manage IP, MAC or LAN PORT downstream. I have not tested but its available to purchase (or searching the web)

I have WRT54G device, hardware rev 5. The dd-wrt guys have come up with a 'micro' edition of the dd-wrt firmware (minus a few features which I don't really need anyway). I'm currently using the latest 'micro' edition.
For more info on the different hardware revs of the WRT54G check the link below - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WRT54G . Smile
