I am trying to get my DS online with the above hardware/firmware

    Additional details:

    SSID is not broadcast
Restricted access to specific MAC addresses
I want to give the DS a static IP of 192.168.1.3 (or something else)
    Mixed mode
Trans rates have been set in Tomato as per Nintendo's guidelines.

I get an error code of 51300 whenever I try to connect. I have tried connecting with the SSID broadcast on and off as well as with static IP.

Is there a way to get the DS to connect with the following:
    SSID Broadcast off
MAC Filtering allowing only specific devices to connect
Static IP address for the DS?

When I broadcast the SSID and use DHCP I get error 51099.

    Anyone have any hints?

What WiFi security are you trying to use? The DS only supports WEP, not WPA. Kind of lame but that is how it is.

The connection was initially unsecured. I have not tested it with WEP as of yet.

I can tell you it does work. My son connected to my WRT54G v3 up until the day he broke his DS. His friend comes over with his DS and he connects just fine to my Asus with Tomato 1.23

    it works.
but only WEP is supported by the DS (or non security)

Do you have it working with the WRT54GL? Can you send me the settings that you used? I've listed above what I have tried so far.

All I did was scan for a network on the DS, then WEP, and Key 1 is the PW I input on the DS to connect to wifi.
I believe the SSID broadcast has to be enabled, I don't remember as my DS is broken.
