    Hi All,
New here, so I hope this will not be too a stupid a question, but here goes.

I have just bought the WRT54GL, (now I know this is not meant to work but it dose) I have it going through a Draytek Vigor 2600we modem/router.
I got it to work by disabling wireless connection in the draytek manager.

So here is my question. I can not get the linksys manager/control panel in the browser to be default, when I put in, I get the draytek, so I tried changing the default ip in the linksys to (while connected to the pc by the cable), but this dose not work.

Can any of you think of a way I can get the linksys to be the default browser manager by disabling something in the draytek settings or activating something in the linksys settings?
Any help would be most welcome.

    kind regards,

chamge the WRT54GL IP sddress to, disable the DHCP server on your WRT54GL and save the setting. The Draytek should be the DHCP server and should distribute addresses in the 192.168.1.X range where X is not 1 or 2. The WRT54GL should have its WAN port set to DHCP and connect the WRT54GL from port one to the first port of the Draytek. In advanced setting disable NAT. To get to Draytek type in and to get to the Linksys type in

Thank you Howard, that worked a treat. Now all I have to do is, see if my wife’s Mac stops crashing the connection.
