    Greetings All,

I probably should have asked before I "upgraded" my firmware, but I am wondering if I blew it by upgrading my WRT54GL V. 1.1 from its original firmware 4.30.7 to the new firmware found on the linksys site 4.30.9? It is confusing because there is no mention of version 1.1 on the site. If I did blow it is there any way I can go back? If so where can I find 4.30.7? Thanks in advance.

4.30.9 is for v1.0 and v1.1 so you didn't blow it. Your router will be fine.

Thanks for the reply. One of the reasons I asked is that on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WRT54G they state that version 4.30.7 can flash 4 meg files but 4.30.9 can only flash 3 meg. At this point I don't plan on using anything but linksys firmware but should I decide to use another firmware will this be a problem?

When I received my GL it was loaded with 4.30.7. Ran it for 15 minutes and then installed DD-WRT. When 4.30.9 was released I loaded it just to see how it worked. Linksys finally got something right.... LOL I reloaded DD-WRT back onto it without any problems.
