What is the maximum signal coverage (in meters) of Linksys WRT54GL v1.1? (original firmware v4.30.7 is up and running)

Too grey to give a straight answer. Depends, among other, on (i) your terrain/environment, (ii) what's between the router and the receiver of the signal, (iii) what you connect to, (iv) what the humidity/temperature is, etc., etc., etc.

If you are inside a Faraday cage, or a metal vault, you'll just go to the borders of that cage/vault, which may be 5m or less. If you have open terrain, and line of sight, a clear cold, low humidity day, you might go 400m or more with stock everything.

Also, the thing that the router talks to, needs to talk back, so this "thing" has a range of its own.
