WRT54GL won't connect to ISP

I flashed my working WRT54GL with Tomato 1.25, and i can access and configure the router just fine.
The only problem is that i can no longer connect to the internet.
The way it worked with my old router (and the new router pre-flashing) was that i just use what seems like a phone numer as the name for a PPPoE connection, without password or anything and it worked (the old system wasn't setup by me, i didn't even knew if we use a DSL modem between router and internet or not - we do) anyway, it worked with the new router, but after flashing it stopped working and i don't know why.

basically the router is showing "connecting..." all the time. In the Log it shows a whole bunch of stuff, but this part basically keeps repeating

i reset the router seevral times, and i cleared the NVRAM twice, i dunno what else it could be :(

i had such problem, go to Administration->Configuration and backup your settings, then
in the same page under "Restore Default Configuration" select Erase all data in NVmemory->ok, go back to the router and restore your setting and see if you go your net back

i had that bug in all tomat versions.
