WRT54GS as a PPTP tunnel?

Can the WRT54GS (with or without satori) be used to establish a PPTP "tunnel" from the local WiFi interface to a remote PPTP server? The idea being that it'd handle connecting to the remote VPN via the router and not require each WiFi client to make the connection.

Is this something either the factory or sveasoft firmware can be made to perform?

The goal here is to provide a link from a set of WiFi clients to the remote network and not have any of their traffic go to the local wired network. Essentiallly just using the local wired network /only/ as a transport for the VPN.

This is definitely possible. You have to tweak iptables, and the linux routing table after you get the pptp client set up.

    Configuration instructions for pptp client:

    Check out my post:

    I'm using Satori-4.0 v2.07.1.7sv on a WRT54G downloaded from linksysinfo.com

The only problem that I have is that the link goes down periodically, and cron doesn't work in this firmware release, so I have to bring the pptp link up again every once and awhile.
