Heres the problem, I have this router sitting in my house that won't service the network proporly. The only way for any computers in the house to connect to the internet AT ALL is for us to now plug them directly into the router, the wireless connection isn't even detected by the laptop. NO COMPUTER CAN CONNECT unless they're plugged into this blue peice of junk box. directly into the cable modem won't work, link light doesn't light up, and CAT5 ports don't light up unless they're connected to the linksys router.

I want to be able to fix this, and also for the wireless network to be detectable, windows just says to check that the wireless switch is on and try again.

the lights on the router light up - but no wireless and the only way to connect is to jack up to the router.... soooo WTF

Model number of the Linksys device and version: WRT54GS SETUP WIZARD ver.1.0
Network setup:The cable modem is plugged directly to the router and all desktops and laptops receive internet through it.
    Operating System: Windows XP
    Internet Provider:Shaw Cable
