WRT54GS DDNS problem

Using stock linksys firmware 'til they fix the 'high throughput' bug, I came home from a few days away to find I had lost my dyndns hostname as the IP hadn't been updated for 35 days. Router has been up for a couple of weeks but not this long!

I suspect it only updates dyndns.com when it notices the WAN IP changing - and it hasn't changed for months, so it hasn't updated...

I've re-enabled my daily windows vbs script to stop this happening again (assuming my PC is on occasionally!). Is their a way to get the router to do a timed update say every 25 days if no change? Or is this a feature of some alternative firmware?
