I thinking of build an office beside my house and the wireless connection doesn´t reach out enough.

Or can I use a WET54G with external anten outside the new building?

I don't know about the first scenario. In the instructions for the WRE54G, they do not say anything about running more than one unit in series. They only mention the three different Linksys routers that will work with that WRE54G.

The WET54G would be a better, but more expensive choice. The WRE54G does not have a removable antenna and you cna not use an external antenna with it. The WRE54G cuts the bandwidth in half, since it muse receive and retransmit the packets with its own MAC address and it only has one radio. If you are using MAC address filtering the WRE54G defeats the MAC address filtering since to use the repeater its' MAC address must be one in the list of PC allowed to use the wireless portion of the router. The WET54G does not use WDS and you get the full bandwidth.

What's the proper way on doing this scenario?

I have the WRT54G and WRE54G talking to each other, how do I get the WET54G talking to the WRE54G?
