    Hi,

I flashed my WRT54GS v1 with OpenWRT a few weeks ago. It worked okay and I changed a few settings in the Web interface and it was all OK.

I just powered it up again yesterday and the power led just kept on flashing.

So, I've decided to follow the instructions in the FAQ, and get it back on the default linksys firmware if I can.

However, this bit is a bit unclear - all I get in the download is a bin file and a text file, is there some linksys tftp utility or something similar I need?

I'm sorry if this seems a stupidly simple question, but I don't want to risk doing anything wrong and breaking my router even more :frown:

if you can still access the router webui then upload it thru the webui its under the administrator tab->firmware upgrade.load the firmware which is on a bin filename and then hit the upgrade button, and then reset the router for 10 secs and then unplugged the power and then boot it up.
