    Hi there!

I've upgraded my WRT54GS to HyperWRT 2.1b1_GS and activated WPA encryption. Works flawlessy with my PowerBook. But I won't get a connection with my Dell Axim X50v handheld. WEP-encryption works, but I'd like to use WPA for security reasons.
After downgrading to the latest official Linksys firmware (3.37.2) WPA works fine with my Axim. What the hell is the problem?

I had the same problem with my Axim x50v. I just said fuckit and used WEP with MAC filtering. :)

I had something similar happen with my old DLink and x30hi. Ended up having to:

    - Install Tweaks2k2 and "Disable Zero Configuration" (Tweaks>Internet Tricks>Networking in Tweaks2k2)
    - Open the Odyssey Client settings (in the Connections tab in Settings on my x30hi) and set the connection up in Odyssey.

Remember to enable Odyssey, select the profile you just added for the connection and enable Connect To.

Once I did this, my x30hi connected prefectly fine (thank GOD)

Apparently, the Dell WLAN client can have issues where it tries to authenticate WPA as WEP.

    Hopefully this'll get you going...
