I'm a computer novice!!! have a linksys wireless router, WRT54GS, and I am trying to connect it to my linksys router, AM200. I'm using the install disk that came with the wireless router and I get to the last step that says confirm settings. When I click yes, it checks for a while then comes back with a message saying:
"Router is not able to connect to the internet. Try unplugging the modem and plug it back in."
I have an internet connection that works fine with the linksys am200 router.

Please help its driving me mad

unplug the power on both devices, plug the AM200 port into the "internet" or "WAN" port on the linksys router. Hook the linksys router up to your computer from one of the remaining 4 ports. power on the AM200 and let it start up, then power on the linksys router, and try running the CD once again. If this is what you have and getting your current problem we can configure the router through a web browser and dont need the CD
