WRT54GS Reserving bandwidth???

Hey folks, ive had my WRT54GS running okay for the last few weeks. I don't have any encryption at all and just turned off SSID and enabled MAC filtering, if I use any encryption it seems to disconnect and not work a lot. . Now, the problem is that when I use a program such as bittorrent, limewire, azureus, ares, or any other downloading program NOTHING else will connect to the internet except that program, and that is including my sisters computer and my computer which are the only two on the network. . I tried to find some QoS options but can't seem to find them.. I am using DD-WRT. Any suggestions on how to fix this? It's really annoying when I'm playing CounterStrike:Source and my sister starts up limewire and I can't connect to anything.. Also, I get really bad ping at times when my sister and I are both using the internet.. I want to set her computer to have a max of 256k download or something in order to keep my computer connected with enough bandwidth to do what I need to do. My sister's computer is the computer wired to the router while I am connected wirelessly with the WMP54GS (or whatever its called, the wireless G from linksys).

    Thanks for any help.

Sorry for the slow reply. Haven't logged on here in several days... Did you get the QoS figured out?
